Water multiple zones on command with Water
Sometimes you don't want to wait for a schedule to kick in, you just want to water something right now. OtO gives you two ways to do that from your Home page and tapping the Water Now button ():
- Water on demand — pick any zone(s), set how much to water each, and go. It's a one-time watering; nothing is saved for later.
- Schedules — if you want to water some parts of your lawn that you'll want to run again and again (say, your front lawn, veggie garden, and trees together), save it as a schedule instead of picking the same zones every time. Disable the schedule if you don't want it to run automatically. It'll sit there ready, and you can start it with a tap whenever you want.
Watering zones right now (Water on demand)
- Tap the Water Now button (
) on your Home page.
- Select Water on demand.
- Choose the zone(s) you'd like to water, and set how long to water each one.
- Tap Start now to start watering
Starting a schedule on demand
You can start any schedule — enabled or disabled — whenever you want:
- Tap the Water Now button (
) on your Home page, select Select from schedules, and choose the one you want; or
- Tap directly on the schedule and select Water it now.
Why isn't my OtO watering right now?
- Because OtO sleeps to preserve battery power, it may take up to 5 minutes to water if you don't press the wake switch.
- Read Why does it take OtO so long to water manually? for more details.
If you have watering events scheduled on the same OtO (or on a different OtO sharing your water supply) starting a schedule on demand may disrupt them. You'll get a notification letting you know.
