OtO isn't charging part 2

IMPORTANT: Complete all the steps provided in the article OtO isn't charging part 1 before you continue with the steps below. 

If you have any of the following OtO devices: 6014-F, 6014-K1, 6014-CS (tip: Check the sticker under the lid for this information), please follow the Cycling Workflow below. 

  1. Unplug the unit.

  2. Cover the solar panel completely using an opaque object (such as a blanket).

  3. Using tape or a hard object, hold the switch - and prevent it from springing back into place while OtO is plugged in. (The tape can be left on for the entire duration of this workflow, but needs to be removed before attempting to use/reconnect to OtO.)
  4. Plug OtO in.

  5. Set a timer for 45 minutes.

  6. After 45 minutes:

    1. If the light is glowing solid red => The unit is successfully charging. Keep it plugged in for at least 24 hours before trying to use it again.

    2. If there is no red light => Return to step 1 (unplug) and try entire workflow again. You may need to do this up to 4 times.
