Device won't stand up in soft ground

This article is for you if you're having trouble keeping your device upright in soft, sandy ground when using the ground stake mounting format.

Tips:

  • Avoid digging a hole first before pushing the bracket into the ground.
  • Instead, the device can be hammered into the ground using a piece of wood or a mallet to reduce paint damage.
  • Consider mounting the bracket on a wall (it can be flipped around and used as a wall mount using the wood screws provided).
  • If a wall is unavailable in your installation location, consider putting a 4x4 into the ground and mounting the bracket to the 4x4.
