Managing Notifications

Learn about OtO notification categories and choose which notifications you want to receive.

Notification Preferences give you full control over the push notifications you receive on your phone. This highly requested feature lets you receive only the timely alerts that matter to you. From notifications regarding device status to irrigation activity to weather skips, you’ll always be ready to act quickly and stay in control.

To access and change your Notification Preferences:

1. Navigate to the More tab in the OtO app.
2. Hit Account settings.
3. Under the Preferences section, hit Notifications.
4. From here, toggle whichever notification categories you'd like on/off.

Notification categories and what they mean

There are 4 different notification categories you can toggle on/off.

• Irrigation status: start/end/cancellation of a watering event
• Irrigation error: scheduled event missed, low water pressure, low battery, etc...
• Weather skip: Skipped watering due to rain/wind
• Device error: Battery fully depleted
