The OtO device uses Bluetooth connectivity from your mobile device when editing zone boundaries and Wi-Fi credentials.
Connecting to Bluetooth
When you set up your OtO device for the first time you will be prompted to connect to your mobile's Bluetooth.
- Flick the switch on your OtO device and the status light will blink blue, indicating it is searching for a signal.
- Follow the instructions in the OtO Mobile app until you get to the slide "Connect to app".
- Start the scan.
- Once your device shows up in the list, select your OtO device based on the serial number ("otoXXXXX"). This number can be found under the solar panel lid.
- Once OtO has connected to Bluetooth, the device's status light will glow solid blue.
Troubleshooting
